Zeitoun 2018 photoDr. Al Zeitoun has over 30 years of global experiences in project management and strategic change, leading operational excellence for large corporations. His transformative strategy execution includes roles such as executive director, Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC), UAE. In this role, Dr. Zeitoun built the internal capabilities to support operational readiness for the complex US$20 billion one-of-a-kind new build of four nuclear power plants. He applied his integration and collaboration skills to lead ENEC’s portfolio governance and program health checks.

Prior to that, as senior portfolio solutions expert for Booz Allen Hamilton, Dr. Zeitoun co-led the firm-wide development and rollout of advanced innovative PMO practices and re-launched the firm’s portfolio solutions and PMO business in the Middle East/North Africa. He drove strategic initiatives such as Saudi's Contracting Sector 2024 Simulation. Dr. Zeitoun represented the firm on the PMI Global Executive Council.

He has been volunteering for PMI for 20 years. His vision for project management is to see it be the central enabler for organizational and personal excellence.

Dr. Zeitoun has also been a thought leader at leading institutions, including PwC Academy's MBA courses, University of Maryland's PMO courses, as well as leading ITT Technical Institute's Master of PM Curriculum Development and Delivery program. His keynotes covered organizational agility, strategic PMOs, future cities, UAE complex infrastructure programs, Brazil's strategy delivery and execution, and the Changing Face of Project Management. His publishing include congresses, allpm.com and participation in a PM Network® article on reimagining megacities.

Dr. Zeitoun is a global citizen born in Cairo. He studied in Egypt, Germany, and earned his engineering PhD in the United States. He speaks English, Arabic and German and enjoys family, tennis and reading.

Jeff Jones is the Superintendent of Schools for Temple Schools and the principal of Temple High School. Temple Schools consists of four distinct schools: Temple Elementary, Temple Middle School, Temple High School, and Temple Home School. As the Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Jones is responsible for the oversight of all four schools, including portfolio, program, and project management. He is also a volunteer instructor for ETPMI’s Project Management Professional Exam Preparation Course.

Jeff graduated from Ohio Northern University with a BSPHARM degree in pharmacy. john newcomb

With over 20 years’ experience in industry, John Newcomb has been project, program, portfolio manager, agile coach and consultant in several fields. During this time he has acquired the PMI PMP & ACP certifications, the Scrum Alliance CSM & CSP certifications, and most recently obtained the Scaled Agile Framework Program Consultant (SPC) 4 certification. Currently John is a senior project manager for PerfectServe in Knoxville where he manages enterprise level projects, coordinates software release management, and works with several agile infrastructure teams.  John has been with PerfectServe since Oct. 2014.

joelJoel Reeves is the Associate Vice Chancellor and Chief Information Officer at the University of Tennessee. In this role, Joel utilizes his extensive experience in higher education, information technology, and excellent leadership skills.

Mr. Reeves is the Chief Executive for a 200+ central IT staff that supports campus infrastructure, enterprise applications, help desk and client support, and instructional technology. He began working at the University in 1986, and has seen a steady progression of growth to his current role. In 2008, he led the Banner Student Information System implementation at three campuses across the state. In 2009, he was named Associate Chief Information Officer for university-wide administration, before being name CIO for the Knoxville campus in 2011. He was selected in 2011 by his statewide peers for the Tennessee Higher Education Information Technology Distinguished Service Award.

GlennStrausser has more than 25 years in quality, project, and program management leadership.  He is the Director of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction and as the Director of Quality at Centrus Energy.  He is considered an expert in organizational project, program, and portfolio management.  He has earned extensive Project and Program Management Certifications, including the Project Management Professional (PMP), Management of Risk (MoR), Advanced Practitioner and Instructor in Program Management, and was a certified PMI OPM3 Assessor and Consultant.  He also has certifications from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) as a Quality Manager, Quality Engineer, Software Quality Engineer, Auditor, and a Six Sigma Black Belt.  He has served on several local and state quality boards, and he has presented on project management and quality-related topics to global audiences.
