The agile methodology started to formalize with the publication in 2001 of the Manifesto for Agile Software Development, which outlined twelve core principles. Since that time, organizations all over the world have embraced agile methods to develop software and various certifications became available, including the PMI-ACP certification from PMI.
So, what is agile? What makes it different and successful? This presentation will provide an overview of the core principles, key roles and steps, and examples of applications beyond software development.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Walter Cromer began his career as an agricultural research engineer focused on instrumentation, controls, computer modeling and analysis with the University of Georgia Coastal Plain Experiment Station in Tifton, Georgia.
