Join us on November 29, for the ETPMI monthly meeting to learn more about Business Risks Analysis while networking with great local professionals.
The topic of this presentation is Business Risk Analysis. A Business Risk is anything that can impact the cost or schedule of a program or project. Business Risk Analysis focuses on
The likelihood that funding is adequate to complete the project;
The chances of completing the project on schedule;
Alternatives to improve the chance of success; and
Risk reduction to achieve an acceptable risk level.
Risks are characterized as Fixed, Variable, Uncertain, or Showstopper and are evaluated using a Monte Carlo-type simulation. The Business Risk Analysis process has been successfully employed in projects, large and small, across the country.
